I have graduated from Hunter College, NYC in 2000 with a Bachelor in Nutrition and Food Science degree. Soon after I followed my passion to pursue an advanced training in Nutrition Support. I am a Registered Dietitian (R.D) since 2005 and a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (C.N.S.C.) since 2009. I have practiced clinical nutrition and led nutrition support team services in some of the leading hospitals of greater NYC area, Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Westchester Medical Center, Holy Name Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital. This very experience gave me an advantage to learn from the best and become best at managing and rehabilitating some of the sickest patients in the country. My areas of expertise are: inflammatory bowel disease, cancer malnutrition, diabetes, open heart surgery, post trauma care, gastrointestinal surgeries, short bowel syndrome, gastroparesis, gastric bypass complications, eating disorders, chronic renal and liver failure and transplants, bloodless medicine, tube feeding and intravenous nutrition support therapies.
